Your hip pain is deep and aching in the hip. Usually this is accompanied with the ability to pop the hip in and out of the socket (via hip adduction and medial rotation) in standing and is common in dancers and other young women who are hypermobile.
- Activate and strengthen the gluteus medius.
- Avoid postures where the hip rotates medially and adducts (avoid crossing the legs).
- Stop popping the hip.
